When your people are spread across offices, sites, and shifts, coverage becomes a guessing game. Momentum unifies attendance and activity across every location so you always know who is present, who is stretched, and where the gaps are.

// The challenge

What gets in the way

01
Fragmented sites

Each office or site reports differently, so the org-wide picture never adds up.

02
Shift blind spots

Coverage across shifts and locations is invisible until something breaks.

03
Manual roll-ups

Leaders waste hours stitching spreadsheets together to answer simple questions.

How this plays out for distributed & field

Five sites, five versions of the truth

Multi-site operations usually mean multi-format reporting: one office keeps a spreadsheet, another emails a summary, the third has a supervisor who "just knows." Coverage questions — who was actually working during the afternoon shift at site B? — take a day of phone calls to answer, and the org-wide roll-up never reconciles. When machines are shared or handed between shifts, nobody is even sure which devices belong to which team anymore.

Every site, every machine, one console

Momentum puts each location or client operation into its own structure: Departments group people by site or function, and Tenant Management separates operations that must never mix. The Machines module gives you a live register of every device — Pending, Approved, or Rejected — with remote uninstall and agent-login disable for machines that leave the fleet. The Workforce Dashboard's master user grid shows every person's agent status, active time, and score across all sites at once, and Resource Usage flags devices running hot on CPU or memory.

Coverage stops being a guessing game

Within a month, site comparisons come from the same instrument: top and lowest departments ranked side by side, department time distribution including idle, and present/absent counts that update as people start their day. When a shift under-covers, the Timeline shows exactly where the red idle blocks fall. Regional leads stop stitching spreadsheets and start acting on the same dashboard the head office reads.

// Metrics to watch

The numbers that tell you it's working

Every one of these lives on the Momentum Workforce Dashboard — no exports, no spreadsheets. Set your workday, expected desk hours, and target productive hours in General settings, and watch the expected-vs-actual gap close week over week.

// The playbook

From install to insight in four moves

A proven rollout sequence using real Momentum modules — agents, machine approval, department app rules, and the dashboard.

01
Model sites as departments

Create a Department per site or field team and assign members. Department-level analytics — time distribution, top and lowest rankings — then give you site-by-site comparisons for free.

02
Approve the fleet deliberately

Roll agents out site by site. Each machine appears as Pending in the Machines module; approve known devices, reject strays, and remotely uninstall agents from hardware that gets reassigned or retired.

03
Encode shift expectations

Set office start/end times, expected desk hours, and productivity thresholds in General settings so every site's attendance and idle time is judged against its actual schedule, not headquarters'.

04
Compare sites weekly

Use the dashboard's top/lowest department rankings and department time distribution (including idle) to spot the site drifting from plan — then open individual Timelines to see whether it's coverage, idle time, or app mix.

// How Momentum helps

// Questions

Distributed & field teams usually ask

Can we keep two operations completely separate?+

Yes. Tenant Management creates isolated tenants with their own admins, settings, and data. Within a tenant, Departments handle site- or team-level separation and analytics.

What happens when a machine changes hands or leaves a site?+

From the Machines module you can reject the device, disable agent login, or trigger a remote uninstall — no site visit required. New installs always re-enter as Pending for approval.

How do we compare productivity across sites fairly?+

Department-level app rules mean each site's tools are classified for its work, and General settings define the expected workday. The dashboard then ranks top and lowest departments on the same basis.

Can we monitor device health remotely?+

The Resource Usage module reports CPU and memory per device, and Logs (Daemon, Installer, Task Scheduler, Upgrade — Info and Error) let you troubleshoot an agent at a remote site without touching the machine.
