What's the difference between annual and monthly billing?+
Alpha AI and Alpha are available monthly or annually. Annual billing saves 25% on the per-seat price and locks the rate for the term. Monthly plans flex with your headcount each cycle — you're billed for active seats, and deactivating a user frees the seat immediately.
How does per-seat pricing actually work?+
A seat is a user whose activity is captured by the desktop agent. Multiple machines per person still count as one seat — a desktop and a laptop merge into a single timeline. Admins and Managers who run the agent count once; there's no per-machine or per-device fee on any plan.
What happens when I add seats mid-cycle?+
New users are prorated from the day their machine is approved. On monthly billing they simply appear on the next invoice; on annual billing added seats are invoiced at your discounted per-seat rate, prorated to the remaining term. Nothing needs reinstalling and no data migrates.
Are there limits on tenants or departments?+
Alpha and Alpha AI include one tenant with unlimited departments and per-department app rules — the 7-day free trial has the same single-tenant setup. Custom adds multi-tenant management with hard isolation between tenants and unlimited tenants under one agreement — useful for subsidiaries, client-side teams, or regional separation.
How long is my activity data retained?+
The 7-day free trial retains 7 days of activity history. Alpha retains 1 month. Alpha AI retains 12 months, with export on request. Custom retention is contractual — from aggressive purging to indefinite retention, depending on your compliance posture. Deleting a tenant permanently removes its data after a grace window.
What do the support tiers include?+
Alpha includes email support with next-business-day response — the free trial gets the same. Alpha AI gets priority support with a faster SLA and rollout guidance. Custom adds 24/7 premium support, a dedicated success manager, and quarterly reviews of your dashboard configuration, app rules, and thresholds.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?+
Card is standard on Alpha and Alpha AI — the 7-day free trial needs no card at all. Custom plans support invoicing with NET-30 terms and purchase orders, and we'll complete security questionnaires, DPAs, and vendor onboarding forms as part of procurement. Annual invoicing is the norm for larger rollouts.
Is there a free trial, and does it need a credit card?+
Yes — every signup starts with a 7-day free trial of the core product across up to 10 seats, no credit card required. Deploy agents, approve machines, set app rules, and watch the Workforce Dashboard fill with your own data, then choose Alpha, Alpha AI, or Custom whenever you need endpoint security, asset management, more seats, or longer retention.
Can I change plans later?+
Upgrade or downgrade at any time — changes are prorated automatically. Plans gate features, not data: your agents, machines, departments, app rules, and history are plan-independent, so moving between tiers is a billing event, not a migration project.
What happens if we cancel?+
You keep access until the end of the paid period. Agents can be remotely uninstalled from the Machines page in bulk, and you can export your activity data before the retention grace window closes. No cancellation fees on monthly or annual self-serve plans.
