BPO and support operations run on coverage and adherence. Momentum gives operations leaders a live view of who is present and productive, where coverage gaps open up, and how productivity trends across large, shift-based teams.

// The challenge

What gets in the way

01
Coverage gaps

Shift coverage is invisible until SLAs are already at risk.

02
Adherence drift

Schedule adherence is hard to measure fairly across large teams.

03
Scale blind spots

Hundreds of seats across sites make patterns impossible to see by hand.

How this plays out for bpo & support

SLAs fail in the gaps you can't see

A support floor of hundreds of seats across shifts and sites generates a simple, brutal question every hour: is the coverage we promised actually at its desks and working? Supervisors walk rows or ping team leads; adherence gets measured after the fact from ticket systems; and when a client asks for proof of the staffing they pay for, operations assembles it by hand. At BPO scale, invisible idle time and quiet no-shows are the difference between margin and penalty.

A live floor view, per client, per shift

Momentum's Workforce Dashboard is built for exactly this scale: total members, present versus absent, organization strength percentage, and a master user grid showing every agent's status live. Tenant Management keeps each client's operation in its own isolated tenant — separate admins, separate rules, no mixed data — while Departments model queues and shifts inside each one. General settings encode each shift's office start and end, expected desk hours, and productivity thresholds, so adherence is measured against the schedule the client actually bought.

Adherence becomes a managed number

After thirty days, floor management changes shape. The green/red Timeline strip shows exactly where idle time clusters — the ends of shifts, the hour after lunch — and department time distribution including idle makes it comparable across sites. Top and lowest department rankings surface the queues that need coaching, and per-client dashboards drop straight into business reviews. Coverage stops being discovered in the SLA report and starts being corrected the same day.

// Metrics to watch

The numbers that tell you it's working

Every one of these lives on the Momentum Workforce Dashboard — no exports, no spreadsheets. Set your workday, expected desk hours, and target productive hours in General settings, and watch the expected-vs-actual gap close week over week.

// The playbook

From install to insight in four moves

A proven rollout sequence using real Momentum modules — agents, machine approval, department app rules, and the dashboard.

01
Isolate each client as a tenant

Use Tenant Management to give every client operation its own tenant with its own Admin, settings, and app rules — contractual data separation by architecture, not by promise.

02
Enroll seats at scale

Deploy agents across the floor and manage the fleet through the Machines module — auto-approval for provisioning waves, remote uninstall and login disable for seat churn and offboarding.

03
Encode shifts and thresholds

Set office start/end, expected desk hours, and productivity thresholds per tenant in General settings so day, night, and split shifts are each measured against their own schedule.

04
Manage the floor live

Run shifts from the dashboard's master user grid and present/absent counts; investigate idle clusters in individual Timelines and coach from evidence within the same shift.

// How Momentum helps

A clearer picture for bpo & support

Momentum brings the signals that matter into one fair, real-time view — so leaders can act on evidence and teams can trust the numbers.

// Questions

BPO & support teams usually ask

Can we prove data separation between client programs?+

Yes. Each client runs in its own tenant with its own app rules and settings — client tenants never see each other's data.

How fast can we tell someone isn't at their seat?+

The dashboard's master user grid and present/absent KPIs reflect agent status live, and the Timeline marks idle stretches in red — supervisors can act within the shift, not after the SLA report.

We churn hundreds of seats a quarter — is that manageable?+

The Machines module is built for it: new devices queue as Pending (or auto-approve during provisioning), and departing seats are handled with remote uninstall or disabled agent login.

Can different queues have different productivity rules?+

Yes. Model queues as Departments, each with app-rule overrides — a CRM that's Productive for voice support can be Non-Productive for the back-office team, within the same tenant.
