Attendance without the punch clock
Live presence, working hours, and last-seen for every seat — with automatic attention alerts for anyone who goes quiet.
Attendance data has a reputation problem. Done right, it removes friction instead of adding it. Momentum shows who is present, when they started, and how long they have been active — and quietly flags inactive sessions so nothing slips through on a busy day.
Built around attendance tracking
Color-coded status across every seat — present, focused, idle, or needs attention — refreshed in real time.
Everything in one place
How attendance tracking actually works
Not marketing abstractions — the real screens, rules, and signals that make up this part of the platform.
Presence derived from work, not badges
Momentum derives attendance from what actually happens: the desktop agent records when each person's day starts and finishes, so presence is a by-product of working rather than a ritual performed at a kiosk. The Workforce Dashboard rolls this into present and absent counts and an organisation strength percentage — a live answer to the first question of every morning.
Measured against your office hours
Admins configure office start and end times, workday hours, and expected desk hours in General settings. Every start time and active-desk-time figure is then read against that standard, so a 9:40 start means the same thing in every report. Late starts, short days, and quiet seats are visible as deviations from a rule you wrote — not as anyone's opinion.
Presence with substance behind it
A head at a desk is not the same as a day of work, so Momentum pairs attendance with activity. Each person's Activity view shows start time, finish time, and active desk time versus expected side by side, and the day's Timeline shows exactly how the hours between were spent. Attendance and effort finally live in the same record.
The master grid for the whole organisation
The dashboard's master user grid lists every member with their agent status, so you can sweep the entire organisation in one look — who is present, who is absent, whose agent has gone quiet. One screen replaces the morning roll-call entirely.

Where teams put it to work
Attendance tracking, answered
Do employees need to clock in and out?+
No. The agent records each person's start and finish time from actual machine activity, so attendance is captured automatically without punch-ins.
How is someone marked present or absent?+
Presence follows agent activity for the day, measured against the office start/end and workday hours your admins configured. The dashboard shows live present and absent counts.
What is organisation strength?+
A percentage on the Workforce Dashboard showing how much of your total membership is present — a single number for today's coverage.
Can managers see attendance for other teams?+
Managers see analytics for their own team only — attendance data outside their remit stays out of view.
