ACCOPS
Digital workspace & secure remote access

Momentum gave us one live picture of engineering, QA, and support across every office — without compromising the zero-trust posture we sell to our own customers.

The challenge

Engineering, QA, and support teams spread across offices and remote setups left leadership relying on standups and gut feel, with no shared view of focus or coverage.

The solution

The machine-approval lifecycle cleared Accops' own security bar, and per-department app rules made IDEs, terminals, and support consoles count as the productive work they are.

// How the rollout ran

From first agent to full results

The Accops implementation, phase by phase — machine approval, baseline, app-rule tuning, and the payoff.

01Week 1
Rollout

IT pushed the desktop agent to engineering, QA, and support machines across offices through existing device management. Every machine landed in the Machines approval queue, where admins verified and approved hardware before any data flowed — the same zero-trust discipline Accops applies to its own products, so security signed off without a fight.

02Weeks 2–3
Baseline

With departments mirrored from the org chart, the Workforce Dashboard began charting expected-vs-actual hours per team. Leadership deliberately changed nothing — they let the Timeline module build two clean weeks of active/idle data and honest input stats before touching a single rule.

03Weeks 4–5
Rules tuning

Engineering's department app rules marked IDEs, terminals, and local dev servers — offline apps included — as Productive; support got a different rule set where ticketing consoles and remote-session tools counted as core work. General settings encoded each team's real workday hours and idle thresholds instead of a default nine-to-five.

04Weeks 6–12
Results

The expected-vs-actual trend replaced two recurring status meetings per team, and managers now open one-on-ones from the Activity view — productivity score, active vs expected — instead of anecdotes. Coverage questions across offices are answered from the master user grid in seconds.

We build secure digital workspaces for a living, so our bar for any agent on our machines is high. The machine-approval lifecycle met it — nothing reports until an admin approves the device, and every engineer can see their own timeline.
